Meet the Founder

I help families reduce hidden environmental health hazards in their homes—so they can recover from chronic symptoms, restore their energy, and build a foundation for long-term wellness.

I’m Geeta, the founder and principal consultant at Dwellness. I bring over 20 years of experience spanning healthcare quality improvement, medical research administration, health program evaluation and public health leadership.

After years working in the health sector, I concluded: real health begins with you - at home.

That's why I created Dwellness: to deliver science-based, personalised support for people navigating environmental sensitivities and chronic illness.

As a qualified Building Biologist with specialist training in mould, EMF and toxins, I offer structured, evidence-informed services that empower clients to reduct environmental triggers and reclaim their wellbeing.

I work with individuals recovering from conditions like mould illness, MCAS and chronic fatigue, and other environmental illnesses.

I’m especially passionate about working with children. My “little clients” have so much to gain from safe, nurturing spaces in their early years. Supporting their recovery and development is one of the most rewarding aspects of my work.

My approach is both strategic and compassionate. If you're struggling to "get out of exposure" and don't know where to being, I'll help you move from confusion to clarity with expert guidance every step of the way.

I'd be honoured to support your journey from illness to recovery—starting with you and your home.

My Expertise

As a Building Biology consultant, I assess your home environment through the lens of your health goals and symptoms—especially when environmental illness is suspected or diagnosed.

Using a combination of assessment tools, in-home measurements, and laboratory testing, I gather meaningful data about your living environment. From there, I provide evidence-based, practical strategies to reduce exposure to environmental health hazards.

I specialise in mould prevention and assessment, and provide expert guidance on:

  • Air quality
  • Allergens
  • Electromagnetic Fields
  • Drinking water
  • Lead
  • Building materials and furnishings
  • Personal care products, cleaning products and other chemical exposure

Whether you're navigating illness or proactively protecting your health, my role is to equip you with the clarity, knowledge, and tools to make informed, empowered decisions about your home.

My Approach

Most of my clients come to me feeling overwhelmed. They’ve been told to “get out of exposure,” but they’re unsure where to start—or how to make meaningful changes while already managing health fatigue and the demands of daily life.

That’s why the Dwellness approach goes beyond assessments. I combine science-based evaluations with personalised coaching and step-by-step guidance, so you can confidently take action that’s manageable, sustainable, and aligned with your health goals.

I believe a healthy home isn’t a one-time fix—it’s a lifestyle. My work is designed to be both educational and empowering, helping you build the knowledge and confidence to make informed choices long after our initial consultation.

I work with clients across Australia via virtual consultations and educational resources. These sessions help you identify environmental stressors, set clear priorities, and begin making low-tox changes—no matter where you live.

If you're based in South East Queensland or Northern NSW I offer in-person Building Biology assessments. I collaborate with your healthcare team to ensure your environment is supporting—not sabotaging—your recovery.

Wherever you are on your journey, my goal is simple: to help you create a home that helps you heal.

My Training & Credentials

When it comes to your health and your home, trust matters. Unfortunately, misleading or misinformed practices are common—especially in the fields of mould assessment and remediation.

I'm one of relatively few credentialed, practicing Building Biologists in Australia, being a proud member of the Australasian Society of Building Biologists. I hold stand-alone certifications in mould and EMF testing, alongside postgraduate qualifications in evaluation.

My work is grounded in science, evidence, and ethical practice. As technologies and research continue to evolve, I remain committed to ongoing professional development—so you can feel confident that the advice you receive is current, reliable, and aligned with best practice.

At Dwellness, I bring professionalism and a genuine commitment to helping people create spaces that protect and nurture their well-being.
