Meet the Founder
I’m Geeta Cheema, founder of Dwellness and a qualified Building Biologist.
I specialise in helping people recovering from mould-related illnesses, including CIRS, MCAS, and chronic fatigue, to create homes that support their recovery. Working in collaboration with integrative and functional health practitioners, I assess and address mould, moisture, and other environmental health hazards so clients can restore their energy and rebuild lasting wellness.
Before founding Dwellness, I spent years in the health sector leading programs in quality improvement, evaluation, and strategy. That experience convinced me of a simple and profound truth:
Real health begins at home.
I created Dwellness to provide science-based, compassionate and personalised environmental assessments for people navigating chronic illness and environmental sensitivities. My goal is to help every client take confident ownership of their home environment.
My Expertise
My specialty is mould and moisture assessment. In our subtropical climate, dampness and water damage are often the root causes of mould growth, bacterial contamination, and poor indoor-air quality. These are always my first priority, because they drive many of the issues affecting recovery and wellbeing.
Each Mould & Moisture Home Assessment combines detailed visual inspection, moisture mapping, and laboratory testing such as the Environmental Relative Moldiness Index (ERMI). Together, my assessment approach reveals the condition of a home and the root cause of moisture.
How I Work
While mould and moisture are my focus, I take a whole-home view. Every assessment includes an overview of other environmental health hazards that may influence recovery—such as indoor air quality, lighting, chemical exposure, water filtration, and EMFs—with practical recommendations for improvement.
Many of my clients come to me feeling overwhelmed. They’ve been told to “get out of exposure,” but don’t know where to start. That’s why my process combines science-based assessment with personalised guidance, translating complex findings into clear, manageable actions that align with your health goals.
Because a healthy home isn’t a one-time fix—it’s a lifestyle.
